Departmental Mandate
- Facilitate the development of essential infrastructure to boost investment
- Reduce post-harvest losses, ensure food security and Import substitution, increase employment generation and wealth creation
- Relate with Agric-focused private investors in collaboration with relevant ministries, departments & Agencies
- Facilitate access of farmers to Agric-based financial institutions
- Sensitize the public on the importance of the Agric value chain for increased productivity, procurement, and marketing
- Design and implement Agricultural policies and advocacy as it relates to Agric business and Agro-Processing
- Prepare Agribusiness investment guide and business profile for agricultural enterprise
