The Lagos State Government has launched the Produce for Lagos Programme and a N500 billion Offtake Guarantee Fund, an initiative designed to transform the State’s food system, strengthen agricultural resilience, and improve food security. As part of the initiative, the State signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Governors of Ogun, Kogi, Niger, and Taraba States to foster inter-State collaboration in food production and supply to Lagos State.
