Commissioner for Agriculture & Food Systems, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, Permanent Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Audu were at the Lagos State Agricultural Training and Entrepreneurial Centre, Epe to engage with participants of the ongoing training of the 25th cohort of the Lagos Agripreneurship Programme programme tagged LAP 25.
The Programme stands as one of the State Government’s impactful initiatives, designed to nurture a new generation of young agripreneurs through its blend of one month intensive training, hands-on practical sessions, and a three-month internship and mentorship phase.
The programme equips young people with the technical skills using modern agricultural tools and entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in today’s competitive agricultural sector. Participants are exposed to key value chains such as poultry, aquaculture, crop production, processing, packaging, and Agritech innovation with the overall aim of strengthen the States food system.
